This heady blend of Persian spices is perfect to sprinkle over savory rice, rub over meats or add to stews. It also happens to be tasty on Persian rice pudding too. 

Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons dried rose petals
  • 2 tablespoons cardamom seeds
  • 1 tablespoon cumin seeds
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons ground ginger

Preparation
  1. Grind the whole spices and combine with the ginger and cinnamon.

I love combining all those spices, but have shied away from using rose petals until now, thinking they are meant only for drinks and desserts. Hmm...always asking why and expanding my palate/palette. Thanks, Natasha!
