We just got back from an amazing vacation and I’m feeling refreshed! With spring in the air, one of my favorite things to enjoy this time of year is deviled eggs and yummy egg salads. But, you know what I hate? Rubbery, leathery eggs that have dull, gray-colored yolks. Yuck. When I first started cooking I had no idea why my eggs looked that way, I thought I had boiled them just fine. And you know what, I did boil them just fine. The problem was that I was boiling them. Oops. In fact, calling it a hard-boiled egg is actually counterproductive, because the perfect hard-boiled egg is never boiled at all! So in this video I share how to make the perfect “hard-cooked” egg that will be soft and supple, with a bright yellow yolk that makes your deviled eggs, salads and every other meal look and taste amazing! Watch the video now. And then I want you to check out my interview on the Write Your Legend podcast with Apollonia Ponti. In this hilarious episode, we covered everything from first dates, to cooking meals for your partner, ideas for date night and why cooking can be a turn on.
